7A Passed! Now What?
Passing with 60% voter approval, Ballot Measure 7A created the Confluence Early Childhood Development Service District, which will administer the new funding for early care and education to serve our local kids and families.
Thanks to our community’s support for the early childhood ballot funding, the Confluence Early Childhood Development Service District is forming and preparing to serve our young children, families, and providers from Parachute to Aspen.
The newly elected Board of Directors is charged with establishing the Confluence Service District and putting the systems, staffing, and programs in place to make sure funding reaches the people and programs who need it most. This work will happen in phases throughout 2026.
Elected Board Members:
- Amy Shipley (Seat 1)
- Paul Stanley (Seat 2)
